If I remember correctly you get in the truck buckle the belt then turn the key to the run position (do not start) Then unbuckle and rebuckle the belt 3 times leaving it buckled the last time then turn the key off.
You should hear a chime if you did it right, then unbuckle the belt and you should be good to go.

I went to the dealership and asked them to provide seat belt extenders due to wearing a brace for a broken back.
After healing the extension can be cut to go into the buckle. MA state law requires dealers to provide seat belt extenders free of charge if requested - I was told. Otherwise a trip to the junk yard should yield a buckle.

I DO NOT condone this, nor does this or any other site:
let the signal go. search under the dash for the source.
remove the buzzer module from the fuse block.
FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS REQUIRE THE SEAT BELT WARNING SIGNAL TO BE ACTIVE FOR SAFETY.

It's on page 44 of the 2006 manual. It tells you how to disable the chime. I did it in mine. Piece of cake.

I done this.... this morning before I went to work and it shut the chime up Will it still be disabled after I shut the truck off or does this step need to be repeated everytime
