How should I test my wheel sensor's on a '99 2.5L
Oops, I've got a 2.4L, not a 2.5L
My ABS light went on last Saturday and then it went off. Then I noticed my rear brakes running hotter than usual and I could smell the brake pads.
This morning on the way to work as I was taking off, I heard a loud metal pop from under the car. My brakes didn't appear to be dragging as much. So when I got to work the rear brakes didn't appear to be so dang hot as usual since the ABS light came on. In fact they were about the same temperature as the front brakes.
So I am wondering if I had a stuck HCU valve, or wheel sensor or something. Not sure. . .
Does anyone know how to go about properly testing the ABS wheel sensors to see if any are bad or not. Thanks!
