Default Boston Bombings

My thought's and prayers with the families that were effected.

I live 40 minute's from Boston , and have done jobs on boyltson st and newbury st in boston, during the last 2 years. I am from LI new york and am an avid yankee fan (and jets fan ;( ) Boston is a great city even if I don't like the sport's teams. But here is another reason why I'm a yankee fan and a proud american (among a lot of other reasons) This sign is on the outside of yankee stadium right now. Let's put all our crap in one bag , and stop the BS that's coming our way.

I live 40 minutes away from there as well, in south shore mass (when I'm not attending college in Ohio anyways). I heard there were a few people I knew from high school who were in or at the marathon, they weren't hurt though.

I will never understand religious groups like the Westboro baptist church who are thanking god for the bombings. They're some pretty disgusting people...

It would be great if things like this wasn't one of the few things that bring us all together.

So true. We can have different opinions, but should have some common thoughts, concerns, and values. And it should not take such an event to bring that out....but it seems the only time.

You remember after 9/11 all the vehicles that had flags or flag stickers on them? Where did they all go? (I'm just as guilty) We get too comfortable and forget. At some point , we have to ban together and make this country better , before it's too late.

I believe our society has degraded almost to the point of no return.

Children aren't being taught proper history anymore, people are trying to distort what happened on 9/11 and so forth.

It's only a matter of time.

It is only beyond the point of no return if we allow it to be. Turning it around will take pulling together, not yelling and name calling or finger pointing. But it will not be easy.

And we have taught false history for generations (ask native Americans...) and as Texas seems to set the standard for text books, kooks here will continue the process. And last night I sat in a Legislative Committee Hearing where special interests were trying to revise Texas and American History....

And 911 has as much cover-up as the Kennedy Assassination.....We are not likely to learn the whole truth.

I believe you are right. Problem is, we are all sitting back watching it happen. Instead of trying to do something about it.
