1995 ram 1500 code 32 and 37
This is my first time asking for help in this section. Thanks for your help. I bought my new bride a 95 4x4 Ram 1500 shortbed RC so her dog does't ride in my truck. It was cheap. (1275.00) I have had other Chry products but this is my first Ram. I have replaced the entire dash assembly and pulled the carpet and seats for cleaning. ( it looked as if they were hauling coal in the cab ). It seems to idle ok but when backing up it has and engine missfire, also happens on moderate accel in forward. It has code 32 and 37 stored. ( I can't seem to find the code list for this year model on this forum, I'm sure its my fault ). The fuel pressure is steady at 40 psi but jumps up and down on the misfire. I had to repair the vac lines on the pass side under hood to make the a/c work but haven't found any vacuum leaks afterward. Any ideas ?

Make sure you read note #1 . A simple reset of the PCM may solve that code. But you have to actually look and see if you have a tranny temp sensor in the line.

Sorry but, fuel pressure is lower for a 95. Doesn't really matter anyway. If it doesn't hold the pressure for a reasonable amount of time and has zero pressure in the AM, the regulator is bad(or there is leaking injectors, which can all can be checked with a pressure tester). And if the pickup screen is clogged on the bottom of the pump, the pump needs to come out anyway. And btw, the regulator doubles as a filter too.
