Default How to replace heater/ac control ****

Could you tell me please how to replace heater/ac fan control **** on Dodge Caravan 2001.
Someone install it backwards (turned on 180 degrees). Can I just pull it out or I need to remove the whole dashboard?

I found out that **** can be taken off in one position only - turn it to the left to the end (counterclockwise).

I removed two of them but the wrong one wasn't.

Any ideas?

I believe the ***** come with the control head. To replace the control head the center bezel needs to be removed.

I had a button that did that on my 06

I had to replace the unit with one I found on ebay for 35$

it was plug and play

as long as you get the unit from similar year van, not older, and can see a pic of it to make sure it looks like yours

The one that is f'd up also pulls off, it was probably broken and someone glued it on. A little black and white paint and problem solved.
