Mine was doing the same thing. faulty sending unit forced caused low oil pressure reading and cut engine off. RockAuto has switches ranging from 8 to 15 bucks. The hardest part is gonna be the replacement. It is literally behind the block next to the distributor. A buddy of mine actually shattered it trying to remove it. Another thing you can do is, change the oil and get Lucas Oil treatment, its like 15 bucks. It helps to thicken the oil so that the engine gets better lubrication.Lemme know if that helps

If the old oil pump seized, did you also replace the intermediate shaft that drives it? Otherwise, the hex end might be stripped to the point that it slips in the oil pump, and you are not getting full pressure. Other alternative is, your bearings are smoked, and its time for a rebuild. You might be able to get away with just redoing the bottom end. (may not even have to pull the motor....) so long as the crank or rods aren't screwed up.

Sounds like you have a serious mechanical issue zx6rider, might be a sending unit but I doubt it's a bad pump or it would lose pressure on the increase of RPM at any engine temp. My guess is you have a clearance issue and as the engine warms, the oil warms and everything expands, you lose the flow through the engine causing the chatter or rapping noise you may be hearing.
