Someone please supply me with the battery size (Group number or numbers) for a battery that fits a 2002 Caravan, 3.3 L.

Energizer PG-700N or DT-700N at WalMart stores in Canada. Their American counterpart is Everstart. Don't know their numbers though. They have all the charts in the battery section at WalMart.

Chrysler is typically Group 34 or 34/78 per this site: http://hubpages.com/hub/Choosing-a-Car-Battery---Guide. I would guess the 34/78 for your vehicle as the one for my 2002 GC 3.3L has both top and side terminals.

About time to replace my five year old battery before Winter
hits here in the mid-west. Consumer Reports lists the Autocraft
Titanium 34/78-4 (available at Advanced Auto Parts) as the best
deal for group 34/78 & 78.

At another site I'm on, the WalMart batteries (made by one of the the largest battery manufacturers, Johnson Controls) are considered the batteries to buy mostly. Have Walmart Energizer batteries in my two vehicles and they are great so far.

Might want to compare the warranties, road side assistance available with the battery. One thing about WalMart is if you have a problem, there are lots of stores around compared to some other distributors. They don't give much hassle either.

Consumer Reports - take what they say with a grain of salt. Do your own comparisons / evaluations. Their recommendations may not be specific to your overall needs.

The Autocraft battery appears to be made by Johnson Controls as well per the discussion on this BITOG Thread: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...Number=1063369

why not get the same battery you already have? after 5 years, it's proven to be just fine.
