Yea bro, everyone seems to say go with a wet kit on these bad boys. So what I'm looking at right now is an AFR, a window switch from say 3000-5500 RPM's, a micro switch so it'll cut off when I shift, and a remote bottle opener. I'd say that's a good start.

I'm in a local car club and I just posted that I was gonna sell this or trade for a wet kit. I've already been hit up by two mustangs and a cavalier, haha. I've also already sanded the bottle and brackets down, primed and painted them. It also has the car club logo on the bracket. Hopefully I can trade up to a nice wet kit. I'm a big fan of the barter system...so I'm hoping I won't have to spend cash to get what I want. Earlier this summer I did a 6 hour detail on my buddy's car and he gave me a 2k watt amp, two 12's and box for it. I ended up selling it because it damn near rattle my eyeballs outta socket. Just goes to show what a little elbow grease can get ya!

Good luck Travis. That is why I posted the link, last year I spent hour on D/D reading about nitrous setups in various Dakotas. The guys over there know nitrous for our trucks inside and out.

I read to day that running nitrous and methanol together are so cold that the engine has a hard time producing enough heat so it runs rich. Sounds like a solid idea for putting nitrous on the 4.7...even as a back up plan.

This might be a dumb question but I've never run nitrous and am only considering it at this point, but for a wet kit, how do you supply the extra fuel? Does the stock fuel pump in the Dakota build enough pressure and support the required flow to feed the fuel side of the wet kit, or do you need a second pump?

there is a shrader valve that you tap into of the fuel rail for the wet kit, looks like a bleeder valve, hose just screws on, and yes plenty of fuel pressure
