Dash 2001 ram
Hey, guys I know we all have the problem of the cracking dash and trim bezel. So, what do you all do...... I have two of theese trucks both have the felt covers on them. Yes, nobody knows my dash is cracked but it eats at me. I just looked at my not daily driver the other day. I thought I was going to cry. Yes, I love my trucks..... what I have thought about was to take the dash out supper glue it back up, sand it, spray paint top black again (tan on the other), then spray the back of it with the rubber spray paint they make(to give more suport). This wont work for the trim bezel. I know about the rubber covers but I dont think that is any better than what I have now, I want to repair or replace with new one that wont crack. Any ideas are great, Thanks very much.

I bought the combo with the bezel coverlay both for 200+ship.
The fit is excellent although the color was off and I fixed that with a 5 dollar rattle can from the store.
I have been intending to take some pics and write up so look for that tommorow if I can get my axle joints replaced in time.

I just received my new dash cover yesterday from LMC. It came with a tube of silicone adhesive for gluing it down so I don't think you will be able to lift it up and see a cracked dash. I'm going to trial fit it this weekend and if it looks like a "go" I'll install it.
I have never liked the idea of removing dash boards (unless it was a race car) because there is always the risk that you could damage something expensive, not get it back in right, or then it rattles like hell after you get it back in. So the permanent dash cover seems like a good option for me.
