I have a 74' D100 Pickup with an 83' 318 2BBL (which i think is out of a ramcharger from the engine numbers or van) and I'm not sure what the Trans is off hand.

My problem is the throttle kickdown rod was off, hanging down... which I had no Idea. This is an old beater work truckand besides checking the oil and major fluids I dont really get under the hood too much, unless I have to.

My question is I have no Idea how to hook this up or adjust it the correct way, The transmission hasn't been shifting right for a while now and thought perhaps now that this was the culprit.

Does anyone know where I could find a pic or diagram of both a 74 and an 83 kickdown linkage to figure what needs hooked up where?
